About the role

Academic Work is looking for a Senior IT Analyst with expertise in data mapping, data governance, and business analysis to join a large-scale Core Banking Program at a leading international bank. The program aims to replace local legacy systems with a unified Nordic core banking platform. As part of the team, you will gather and document business requirements, translating them into features and user stories for developers. You will work independently, managing the entire process from requirement collection to handover. The role involves working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and dependencies, requiring strong analytical and communication skills

We are looking for

• ·Extensive experience as a Senior IT or Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of data mapping, data governance, and data flows.
• Background in the banking sector, preferably in a large bank.
• Experience working in large-scale programs (300+ employees).
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• Excellent English communication skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in a large financial company.
• Familiarity with legacy system migrations and digital transformation.

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
