About the role
On behalf of our client, Academic Work is looking for a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to join an ongoing project focused on governance of access management within Identity & Access Management (IAM). The project is already well underway and part of a larger Program, and the role requires a BA who can quickly understand their responsibilities without the need for significant onboarding. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that access management processes are well-structured, efficient, and aligned with both business and security requirements to avoid unauthorized access. You will work closely with stakeholders from both business and IT to analyze, develop, and implement processes involving digital solutions within IAM. Strong communication skills and a structured, problem-solving approach are essential, as you will play a key role in conveying complex information in a clear and professional manner

Work tasks
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and objectives
- Identify, analyze, and document requirements within access management & control
- Form Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) based on business input
- Create process models, use cases, user stories, and data flow diagrams to visualize needs and To-Be solutions
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle
We are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT projects, preferably in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Proven experience in process development.
- Driven and self-motivated with a customer mindset.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA)
Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
